I am Asif Tourab, and I bring over 15 years of progressive experience in the field of Information Security. My journey has been marked by a deep technical proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of network security technologies, strategies, designs, and architectures. Academically, I attained M.Sc. Information security management from Royal Holloway university of London and B.Sc. Cybersecurity from Kingston University.  

My expertise spans a broad spectrum of cyber security domains, from the development of IT risk management processes and integrated security frameworks to the hands-on analysis and enhancement of corporate information systems and networks, I have a proven track record in assessing system vulnerabilities, conducting security health checks, and recommending strategic improvements. 

Throughout my career, I have navigated the complexities of IS incidents with emotional maturity, understanding their impact and sensitivity, and have led security incident investigations with a sound understanding of the incident response process. My experience extends across various industries, including Financial Services, Energy, Critical National Infrastructure, Consulting, and Legal/Compliance. 

My areas of expertise are diverse and encompass Security Operations, Cyber security & Incident Response Management, Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and much more. I have a strong foundation in risk and regulatory frameworks, including NIST 800, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS, and have contributed to the development of Security Management Practices within organizations.
